Happy Happier Hour in Gatlinburg
Nestled at the base of the Smoky Mountains lies one of prettiest towns in America… Gatlinburg. Amongst the shopping, all the sampling and of course the old time photos, there lies a hidden treasure for you to explore.
Looking for a place to gather with friends or just the two of you, does not have to be ordinary. Make it extraordinary with one of these fine places.
- Melting Pot – Located at 959 Parkway #2, Gatlinburg – Happy hour is from 4-7pm with $5 cheese and chocolate fondue per person, $4 salads, $5 featured wines, $3 drafts and import bottles, and $2 domestic bottles. On Wednesdays The Melting Pot has half price wines for anything under $50.
“I personally think this is a wonderful place to dine. The staff always seems professional and on que. The restaurant its self has its own uniqueness. Placed on the second floor high above the busy street below, the bar area offers window seating with amazing views of the street below.”
- Cherokee Grill – Located in the Calhouns plaza at 1002 Parkway, Gatlinburg – From Sunday to Thursday open to close all appetizers are$5 in the bar area only. They offer $2 off liquor and mixers along with their craft beers made right there at Smoky Mountain Brewery.
“This is one of my all time favorite places to frequent downtown. They are one of only a few places that has raw oysters on the half shell! Wash those down with a Velas Helles and you have certainly found pure happiness.”
- Mellow Mushroom – Located just after Light #8 above the Ole Smoky Moonshine Holler – Monday thru Friday 3 to 6pm. Enjoy a spot at the horseshoe shape Moonshine Lounge where you can get $3 house wines, Margaritas, Long Island Iced Teas and have a choice of over 20 different beers all on tap. Tuesday nights after 8, you can enjoy any moonshine drink for $3.
I have mentioned the love I have for being a local in past posts, these and other happy hour places are just another perk.
